Following a $100m (£74m) redevelopment, Ka Laʻi Waikiki Beach, LXR Hotels & Resorts has reopened on the Honolulu coast.
Faraway Jackson Hole
Faraway Hotels has opened its third property of the year, Faraway Jackson Hole in Wyoming, following the additions of Faraway Sag Habor and Hotel Corduroy earlier in the year.
Iconic Venice hotel reopens after a three-year restoration and becomes Danieli, Venezia, A Four Seasons Hotel.
Four Seasons has reopened Venice’s iconic Hotel Danieli following an extensive three-year restoration of the 14th-century palazzo.
Originally built in 1471 by the Dandolos, a noble Venetian family, the building on Riva degli Schiavoni, which is close to Piazza San Marco, became a hotel in 1824. A classic example of Venetian Gothic architecture, two other buildings, Palazzo Casa Nuova and Palazzo Danieli Excelsior, were later incorporated into the hotel, which was part of Marriott‘s Luxury Collection until 2023.
Interior designer Pierre-Yves Rochon is responsible for the renovation, which blends the property’s historic heritage with his contemporary vision. The colour palette is inspired by the Venetian Lagoon — greens, blues, terracotta and pink — while the columns, stonework, and grand staircase have been meticulously restored.
IHG Hotels & Resorts has partnered with UK bank Revolut and Visa to offer debit cards in the UK, offering loyalty members the chance to earn IHG One Rewards points on everyday spending.
The two cards — one with an £18 monthly fee, one free — offer 30,000 and 10,000 bonus points on sign-up respectively, elite night credits and automatic upgrade to Silver or Platinum Elite status.
